Leamington Tomato Festival information on Ontario's Top Tomato Festival and Celebrates one of the Top Tomato Growing Regions in America

"Stewie" and the "Tomato Family" welcome New Visitors and Returnees to the area's only Free-Family-Fun-Festival!

In times-gone-by, the H. J. Heinz Company of Canada Ltd. held its traditional employees' picnic to celebrate the bountiful Tomato Harvest. As time moved forward, community-minded citizens with support from Heinz extended this unique Family tradition into today's "Tomato Festival". We've never forgotten our Cultural and Rural Heritage... and we look forward to a bigger and better future.

The Field Tomato is the largest locally grown crop in the region and has been used by Heinz Canada in its food products worldwide. Additionally, Leamington proudly hosts one the largest concentrations of Commercial Greenhouse operations in the world. Our Community supplies supermarkets across North America and the World.

The Tomato is the centrepiece of the Festival and symbolizes the our strong identity and belief in Family and Community.

Join us now, as Community and Visitors celebrate our Community's growth, achievements and heritage during the Tomato Festival.
