Ebay is a great place to; find Gardening and Cooking items that may not be available locally, find a larger selection of similar items and to compare pricing.
EBAY TIPS - Targeted EBAY Search Pages provide the best place to shop for a selected item. Focused shopping tips will be provided where necessary. Here are some general tips to help make your EBAY purchase a pleasure.
* When you find an item to purchase, Check the sellers feedback and sales history. Look for "TOP Rated Sellers" whenever possible.
* Feedback is the response of buyers and sellers regarding the quality of merchandise and the way the seller/buyer does business. Before purchasing, it's a good idea to look through feedback comments.
* "Free Shipping" has become very a popular way for on-line sellers to compete with local merchants.
* If two sellers are selling the same item and one has "Free Shipping" Compare "Total Cost" between the two. Sometimes paying "Shipping and Handling" may be less expensive.
* Be sure to check whether an item is "New or Used" Sometimes the "Best Price" isn't and sometimes "Used" is a better deal.
* Be an aware shopper.

SEEDS & PLANTS: Seeds can be tricky. Watch quantities and quantities Vs. Price, Vs. price and Shipping.
Quantities for home gardening should be 20 to 50 seed count, anymore and you start storing seeds or giving them away. I usually wait until I know the variety is a winner, then come back to the Garden Center and buy more. Larger properties with big garden layouts should consider larger amounts.
Live plants. Yes it can be done successfully, but be sure check the supplier's feedback. An option for late season replacements. Varieties are limited but interesting.
